I'm curious to hear Hindu-American perspectives on the upcoming November election. I think many of us have been dismayed and angered by the callous attitude demonstrated by the #Democrats on #Kashmir, CAA, Modi, and Hindus in general. It seems as if they take our votes for granted and expect us to fall in line as brown immigrants and the descendants of brown immigrants. What are your thoughts?

Great question Maui! I must admit I feel the same way. I've been a Democrat my whole life but I'm really re-thinking being a member of a party that ignores Hindu-American concerns, especially on such hot button issues as Kashmir and the CAA. My gut tells me the American Hindu community is going to vote the same way the British Hindu community did. It's a brave, new world!
