I didn't realize it was so prevalent, especially in the U.S., until the Democrats started ganging up on #Tulsi for her faith. It was so disgusting to see. And really heartbreaking too, given that the immensely popular Yoga scene is filled with Hindu ideas and Hindu philosophy. It really speaks to the ignorance of Americans, liberals included.

As India Rises and Hindus become more assertive, Muslims and Evangelist will indulge in passive hate tactics like writing articles on RSS, Hindutva, fund orgs like SAHI and EL
Alot of Left leaning media has editors and writers from Muslim background who clearly hate India/Hindus but use Hindutva, brahminism, RSS as Dogwhistle terms.
Hindus in US are passive like they were in India pre 2014. Buddhism is more mainstream than Hinduism which is why alot of people associate Yoga with Buddhism practice in US.
Hinduism has to go mainstream in US. Whether its shows like "never have I ever" by Mindy Kaling showing Hindu traditions (which pissed off EL, SAHI org people) or having a (Hindu TV like Jewish TV or Muslim TV), More Organizations in Campus, Schools and alot of Media Presence.
Hindus have such rich culture and traditions but lack in promoting and marketing it as their own. Then when someone misrepresents, we get angry and indulge in Self Pity.
There is also negative stories on Hindus because Modi and Trump. US mainstream hates Trump, and since Modi loving Hindus are pro Trump, they must be shamed. Coverage that Modi got during Obama was very positive. The PR was next level during Obama time because Modi/Obama had great personal chemistry. Modi shared stage with Zukerberrg, Elon Musk and even shared stage with Hugh Jackman in 2015
Although I am on the fence with Biden/Harris, if you want to see Hinduism being promoted in MSM with positive stories, Biden/Harris will have to win. Its pure politics. Harris mother is a hindu, there was alot of joy amongst "liberal" indian community about celebrating diwali on lawns of WH, Holi in WH, etc.
Unless Hindus in US who are the richest community come together with a sense of unity and pride like they did in India post 2014, Hindus will get attacked in media and orgs like EL and SAHI will have a free run. Unfortunately they are so well off they do not care or wont to indulge in politics.
I agree with whatever you have said. All the way from point 1 to 6 and point 8. Point 7 actually worries me. Harris and Biden are some of the MOST rabid anti-Hindu candidate ever. They both back the restoration of Article 370, revocation of CAA, and have only addressed Hindu concerns after the NRI Hindus created a ruckus. She is the one in open support of Pakistan and hence should NOT be trusted.
Hinduphobia in the U.S. is a reflection of the Hinduphobia rampant in India. Unfortunately, Hindus don't have a concept of proselytizing which is why there are no conversion activities. Taking advantage of this, the Abrahamics have launched a massive effort to convert as many as possible, which is central to their philosophy. Since more than a millennia now, Hinduism has been the one and only threat facing Abrahamic faith and to establish Islamic or Christianic hegemony, Hinduism has to be done away with.
Now, reflect the same scenario on the socio-political scene in the U.S. and you will see that with Islam being the fastest growing religious affiliation, it presents a very large voting block. To get these votes, politicians such as Kamala Harris and Joe Biden tap into this sentiment. This means that to promote islam, you need to antagonize Hinduism which is what is being reflected. Also, in most cases, Hindus are a passive population who will not riot or cause chaos where they live. This is THE major factor that promotes anti-Hindu bias.
In light of what I have mentioned above, what is being created in the U.S. are Abrahamic power centers that need appeasement to function. This is extremely dangerous since we Indian Hindus have first hand experience in appeasement politics. I hope I have answered the question satisfactorily.
