For me, it induces emotions which makes me sweet, but they don’t seem to understand this. since it’s written in their book, they’ll never understand I guess.

Why should we justify anything? Religion is (wo)man made. We make up our rules. Those who agree, come along. Those who don't, stay out. As long as our actions don't negatively impact "them", we don't owe them any explanations.
