I encourage every hindu to give their kids Amar Chitra Katha comic books which narrates stories on Hindu Mythology, History and Festivals. If you have Hindu friend or Indian Friends, on their birthdays, gift them Amar Chitra Katha comics. They even have a website which plays cartoons and narrates stories for kids.
This is a great way to teach Indian American kids their ancestral roots, their culture, religion and where they come from.
This is DC or Marvel comics of India if I were to compare.
