For anyone interested in getting a grounded and basic knowledge of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) please enroll in this Basics of Hinduism course: https://hindu-academy.coachzippy.com/. Created by Jay Lakhani I have found this course extremely helpful in understanding our tradition, religion and culture. It expresses the universal elements of Sanatana Dharma and should help individuals articulate Sanatana Dharma to anyone.

Glad to see some positive testimonials on it here. Will refer others to it. Thanks!
I love this course so far!
As Sanatani Dharmic people (Hindus) we should be careful of authors and researchers like Linda Johnsen. I expect the content in her book would be sufficient but we should be promoting the work of Sanatani Dharmic people of which Jay Lakhani is, for example he is openly Hindu, practises Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) and has performed a great amount research on Hinduism which can be of benefit. My concern with non-Hindus is they can find a way to digest, appropriate, denigrate and separate Hinduism from its core principles such as separating Yoga from Sanatana Dharma. I do not mind the reviews and criticism and welcome it where it is respectful, transparent, non-digestive and honest but we as Sanatani Dharmic people need the right knowledge from the right people using the right resources first before we can enter into counter arguments from non-Hindus and especially those non-Hindus who denigrate us. If you look at Linda Johnsen’s profile from her website (http://lostmasters.com/Bio.html) she states “I'm a writer who shuttles back and forth between two universes: the modern Western world and India!” this implies to be modern is to be Western and further infers that India is not modern and obsolete in certain ways. By her own admission she is a writer and not Hindu herself but has the authority to write the Dummies Guide on Hinduism. It is the mentality and attitude of people like Linda Johnsen we have to be very careful of and very vigilant of, it was this welcoming attitude of criticism, researchers, travellers and non-Dharmic people why Hindus were colonised by Middle Eastern-Muslims and European-Christians. I welcome any responses to my comment but firmly believe that we need to organise and internalise first before we promote and utilise works of other people who consider Sanatani Dharmic people non-modern and obsolete in certain ways.
A complete idiot's guide to Hinduism by Linda Johnsen would be very helpful
