Many U.S libraries, and probably Canadian ones, allow patrons to request that a certain book be added to their collections. Most books on India and Hinduism come from voices aloof, ignorant, or hostile to Dharmic perspectives and Indian history. As a result, many Americans will have a bias on topics such as Islamic atrocities on Hindus, Hindutva, RSS, caste, etc, that inadvertently corroborate the false media narrative. Dharmic communities need a coordinated effort to add to library shelves the works of brave authors, such as Sanjeev Sanyal, Meenakshi Jain, J. Sai Deepak, Ratan Sharda, Vikram Sampath, Sanjay Dixit, etc, who have painstakingly begun to correct the false narratives on India and Hindus. I do these requests with my own local library, but this type of effort will only make a dent if it’s done across the U.S. I have some books in mind, but I'm curious what you all think about a large scale effort like this.
